What We’re Doing
Welcome to our NCAA Totals betting article. As your author, I want you to get to know me and the process I have been building. As a degenerate gambler and an avid Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) lover, I have been working on a process to live by for NCAA Basketball totals. I have been playing DFS for nearly a decade now, mainly for the NFL, but I will also dabble in other sports. Make sure to follow me on X (@trevors_FF) for my DFS takes, but today is all about the best plays in college basketball.
The Model
Once Football season ended last year, I yearned for a good product and tool to bet on something. As I began searching and dialing in different formulas, I found one that I have settled into and has worked quite well. Last season, between February and the end of March Madness, the model hita 60% clip. Since starting it back up again this season, around mid-January, it has been hitting at a 56% clip. I am confident enough in this model that I am ready to pass along the plays for free to our readers at Bite-Size Sports!
Recap
A HUGE bounce-back day for the model yesterday! It felt like old times going 13-5. Now, the POTD doesn’t hit as Tulsa and UTSA find a new wave of offense! Specifically, UTSA, the Roadrunners dead last in the conference, just absolutely blitzed this Tulsa team and scored nearly 90 points. Cap tip to them, but rest assured, we are still the ultimate winners of Wednesday night! We went up nearly 6 units on the night! Let’s go!

Year to Date
I am going to track our picks year to date from the date we started sharing an article (Feb 19th), which included Feb 18th plays as well.
POTD – 10-4 71%
All Plays – 81 – 54 60%
February 29th Plays
Each day, I will provide a Play of the Day. This is the strongest play I find on the slate and one I am transparently laying 2 units on. Otherwise, I am laying 1U on the rest of the plays I provide here.
Let’s build on yesterday’s success! The key here is to stay the course, continue using the same unit for each bet, and keep coming out on top! If you were here yesterday, you knew it was a rare Over day. On this Leap Day, we are going right back to the Under. We also have a lower volume of plays with fewer overall games tonight, which leads to fewer plays The Model likes. A whole lot of small college action. Let’s dive into it.
Play of the day – New Hampshire vs Albany – Under 165.5
Another game The Model completely disagrees with. A 15-point difference as The Model’s line is 150.5. I can see why the total is this high; Albany just had a 174-point scoring affair followed by a 199 scorcher. But other than those two back-to-back games, this 165.5 wouldn’t be in play. Maybe Albany has found something on the offensive end, but New Hampshire has success playing good defense. With the close spread, I think this game will be a tightly played game, which will help us hit the under. Lay your 2 units, and then check out these other 12 plays!
Here are the remaining plays for Thursday:
Nebraska vs Ohio St – Under 144.5
Bryant vs UMass Lowell – Under 160.5
Stony Brook vs Drexel – Over 139.5
Northeastern vs Delaware – Under 142.5
Monmouth vs Hampton – Under 153.5
UBC vs NJIT – Under 150.5
Omaha vs St. Thomas – Over 142.5
Tenn Tech vs UT Martin – Under 152.5 – this game was considered for POTD and the model strongly leans under.
Santa Clara vs Portland – Under 154.5
Tenn St vs Little Rock – Under 146.5
UMKC vs Denver – Under 153.5
UC San Diego vs CSU Bakersfield – Over 137.5
Tail at your own risk, and thank you for supporting Bite-Size Sports. I hope I can do the research and provide the model plays to help you win some money! Welcome to the ride as we get into the pinnacle of college basketball season.
