What We’re Doing

Welcome to our NCAA Totals betting article.  As your author, I want you to get to know me and the process I have been building.  As a degenerate gambler and an avid Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) lover, I have been working on a process to live by for NCAA Basketball totals.  I have been playing DFS for nearly a decade now, mostly for the NFL, but I will dabble in other sports as well.  Make sure to follow me on X (@trevors_FF) for my DFS takes, but today is all about the best plays in college basketball.

The Model

Once Football season ended last year, I found myself yearning for a good product and tool to bet on something.  As I began searching and dialing in different formulas, I found one that I have settled into and has worked quite well.  Last season, the model hit at a 60% clip between February through the end of March Madness.  Since starting it back up again this season, around mid-January, it has been hitting at a 56% clip.  I am confident enough in this model that I am ready to pass along the plays for free to our readers at Bite-Size Sports!

Recap

Although I am sharing a few picks on X and all my picks on Discord, if you want to be first and get the picks before the lines move, you will want to check out this article each day!  Here is how yesterday went.

Tennessee vs Missouri – Over 146.5 ❌

Arkansas vs Texas A&M – Over 145.5 ✅

Bowling Green vs Central Michigan – Under 138.5 ✅

Maryland vs Wisconsin – Over 130.5 ✅

TCU vs Texas Tech – Under 148.5  ❌

Play of the Day – Ball St vs Northern Illinois U146.5 ✅

Another night, another Play of the Day (POTD) smashing, and another night on the right side of the totals.  Even on a night I wasn’t as confident in the POTD, we still found a way to hit it.  The SEC was not looking good early as Tennessee struggled in the first half.  Both of our plays in the SEC had low-scoring first halves; if it wasn’t for Texas A&M extending the game as long as possible, we would have been 0-2.  Finally, the Pig Sooie and Aggie game hit the over 145.5, and we were back on track to having a good night.  We survived an under during an overtime game between Bowling Green and Central Michigan before finally book ending the night with another loss.  4-2 overall for the day and up 2.5 units on the day.  We are cruising this week!  Let’s keep it going today.

Year to Date

I am going to track our picks year to date from the date we started sharing an article (Feb 19th) which included Feb 18th plays as well.

POTD – 3-0 100%

All Plays – 15-7 68.18%

February 21st Plays

Each day, I will provide a Play of the Day.  This is the strongest play I find on the slate and one I am transparently laying 2 units on. Otherwise, I am laying 1U on the rest of the plays I provide here.

Buckle up, folks, Wednesday will be one hell of a night in college basketball.  46 total games for your midweek entertainment with a plethora of games the model likes.  16 plays for tonight is the most volume we have put into an article thus far.  The ACC is where my TV will be turned to as the model shows up three times for ACC Wednesday night basketball.

Play of the day – Furman vs Samford – Under 164.5

Back to a Play of the Day where the model disagrees with the line but double digits.  The model has this total down at 150.5.  The 14 point difference is the largest one on the slate.   Add that to the defense both of these two teams play, both teams giving up less than 73 points over their past 5 games.  Samford can flat score but I will agree with the model and take these defenses tonight.  Lay your 2 units on the play of the day as we go for 4 straight!

Here are the remaining plays for Feb 21st.

Lehigh vs Army – Under 130.5

St. Bonaventure vs La Salle – Over 145.5
